This is an easy, enjoyable read if you enjoy Paris and the Grench lifestyle. However, the author tosses in far too many needless French phrases, some of which it seemed that the author was trying a little too hard. In one chapter it felt like every sentence included the phrases "ma cherie". A little distracting

Short, sketchy, but still a good read

I enjoyed it, but it was short and sketchy. It was more like a very long short story than a real novel. It was interesting, and made some good points about the art of living well, however.
