Philip Holmes is Reader Emeritus in Scandinavian Studies at the University of Hull, UK, and is now a freelance translator.
Ian Hinchliffe, a former lecturer in Swedish, is a freelance translator, copywriter and founder member of the Swedish Association of Professional Translators.

Great book. Beginner to master in no time.

This is an excellent book that will help you master Swedish. I have had this book for a good month and it has drastically helped me learn the Swedish language. I have only gotten through about 1/4 of the book and hope to be able to write out compound sentences in no time. It really helps to download 8 SIDOR app for your phone as well to HEAR swedish in action. I would suggest this book to anyone who wants to master Swedish!

Very complete grammar

This book has everything you need for the study of the Swedish grammar, both at an advanced and at a beginner level.
I would suggest the purchase of this book to an intermediate level user of the Swedish Language, otherwise it gets too dispersive.
It is also very up-to-date with the most recent tendences in written and spoken language.
