About the Author
Peter Jaggs was born in Essex in England and has spent the best part of the last thirty years in Thailand since he was in his early twenties and has visited almost every province in the country. In the past, Peter has written many articles and short stories for various newspapers and magazines including the very popular “Tangled Lines’ series of fishing columns which ran for seven months in the ‘Pattaya People Weekly’ newspaper.Peter has written ten books to date; his first book, ‘From Beggar to Butterfly’ is a collection of short stories about Pattaya that was described by the legendary Bernard Trink in a Bangkok Post review as ‘one of the best books on Pattaya written’ and Richard Ravensdale of the Pattaya Trader Magazine described Peter’s works ‘From Beggar to Butterfly’ and ‘Monkey Business in Thailand’ as ‘remarkable’ and ‘modern classics of Pattaya’. Short stories full of interesting people

Hi, I enjoyed reading this book and found the stories while at times a little short were vividly written drawing me in. Not the best Peter Jaggs book I have read but still very worthy of 5 stars.

Trying to put a positive spin on Pattaya's sex tourism industry is a difficult ask for anyone, despite the author's attempts. He has certainly made a good attempt at justifying his long-term addiction to Thailand's "Sin City", but in the end, this book, as well as his others on the same subject, are obviously just a means for him to earn some more money while he trolls the soi's of Pattaya with his sleazy friends. Instead of purchasing desperate young Isaan women for "short time", he should get a spell check app for his manuscripts.
